Lynn Haven Branch (1/1/15)
Bay Credit Union is happy to announce a new branch at 1302 Ohio Avenue north of Hwy 390 in Lynn Haven on Highway 77. We anticipate this full service branch to open during the first quarter of 2015 with an ATM, drive through lanes and lobby service for withdrawals, deposits, loans, IRAs and all your financial needs. We are excited to grow into another area of Bay County to serve your credit union needs.
UChoose is our new Card Reward program (1/1/15)
ScoreCard is being replaced as our reward program for credit card usage. We are upgrading to UChoose and expanding the program to include credit card and debit card usage. This gives you more opportunities to earn rewards using your debit or credit cards for all your purchases. If you are an online user you will be able to access both your credit card and UChoose directly from Netbranch.
ScoreCard points need to be redeemed (1/1/15)
Our Member Rewards program is being upgraded from ScoreCard to UChoose. January 31st, 2015 will be the last date to earn ScoreCard points and that program will end. The last date that points can be redeemed is March 31st, 2015. AFTER THIS DATE, NO POINTS MAY BE REDEEMED. Check out their website at or call 1-800-854-0790 for any additional questions.
New ATM surcharge-free network: Allpoint (1/1/15)
Starting January 15, 2015, your Bay Credit Union Debit card can withdraw cash from over 30 more locations in Bay County and over 55,000 locations world-wide. The Allpoint Network has ATMs located at CVS, Walgreens, Target, Winn Dixie, and many other retail outlets. The website: Click here for ATM locations will locate ATMs by location. Any marked CU-24, CU-Here or Allpoint that are marked surcharge-free should be at no cost to you.
Debit card changes (1/1/15)
There is no plan currently to reissue you a new debit card except for the current expiration date on your card. Starting February 23, 2015, you will begin earning UChoose points for your debit card purchases in the same way credit card members have in the past. Starting January 5, 2015, your ATM choices expand to the Allpoint network almost doubling the number of surcharge-free ATMs available to you in Bay County.
Credit card changes (1/1/15)
Bay Credit union is upgrading our credit card provider to provide smoother service to our members and to advance into new secure chip-enabled credit cards. We are going through a two-step process to enhance our security and reduce fraud for your credit card transactions. The first step is to issue new credit card account numbers for all credit card holders. This will consist of issuing a new 16 digit card number mailed on February 9, 2015. Your old cards will be deactivated on February 23, 2015, and the new ones will need to be activated by you by this date. Any automatic pays currently set up for your credit card will need to be changed to the new account number. The second step will be to replace the ordinary cards with new EMV chip cards. This will not involve changing account numbers. We do not have a date scheduled yet for the second step of EMV chip cards. A more detailed letter will be mailed to each current credit card member.
