There is a e-mail message fraud attempt, known as " Phishing", that has been initiated via internet and sent to members, that appeared to be from Bay Credit Union.This is a false message. Do not follow the instructions asking you to use a one time password and asking you to varify a security image and then use your password. Never give out any personal information.
No real financial institution will ask you to update your personal information by calling a telephone number or signing into a website. Anyone who receives any type of message in any form that purports to be from Bay Credit Union or any other financial institution and asks for any personal information, should consider it to be a fraudulent attempt to obtain their personal account information. Do not follow the instructions.
If you responded to such message and provided any confidential account information, please contact us immediately at (850) 785-6103. You should also change your account's PIN, and take any other information recommended by Bay Credit Union to protect your account.

- If you bills include any questionable items, don't ignore them. Instead, investigate immediately to head off any possible fraud.
- Periodically contact the major credit reporting companies to review your file and make certain the information is correct.
