Bay Credit Union was established in August of 1952 as International Paper Employees Federal Credit Union. In 1976 the name was changed to Bay County Industrial Credit Union to more adequately reflect the expanded membership. Again in 1987 the name was changed to Bay Credit Union when our field of membership was opened to virtually all  residents of Bay County.  We now have over 9700 members and our assets are over 56 million dollars.
